Ns Crash On New Round

my ns crashes almost every time after a game ends (someone wins) and we go back to the ready room. as soon as i select a team it crashes without an error.

tryed reinstalling both steam and ns.

spec:
intel p4 2.8 ht (really really fast i like it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
512 ddr
maxtor 40 gb hard drive
integarated sound
gforce fx 5200 (really not that bad for the price)
win xp pro

i hope you can help becuse it gets annoying haveing to restart after every round.

Kwik, stop being a twit, if you aint gona post help just don't post.


This is a known problem with NS on steam (the endround crash)

THERE IS NO SOLUTION TO THIS!
The only things that SOME TIMES work are to install/reinstall (multiple times) the ns2.0 Steam Beta client (found in the open beta forum)

Just wait for 3.0 to be released and it is fixed there, sory.

untill then you can play reinstall to your hearts content, or you can reinstall HL and play NS on WON.

thats cool i under stand lucky 3.0 shouldn't(notice that word) be far off. lucky i have a fast computer so it only takes like 25 sec from start of crash to back in ready room. but it is till annoying.
