<div class="IPBDescription">Creativity please.</div> I wrote this story based on NS. I dont want to finish this though... So I will give you the beginning and you continue it!
"Are clear sir. Commencing door opening." said one of the marines, beside him stood three other marines. Three of them held LMGs, and the forth one wore Heavy Armour, and held an HMG. One of the marines came to the control panel which was situated to the side of the gate. From there they would continue to a gas vent which was important for mission objectives. The marine started to type something on the panel, but it seemed that those doors will never open. The marine in HA commented that "You told us that those doors will work!" the answer came very soon "Thats what the recon squad told us." and the marine bursted out" And what are we supposed to do now?!" he didnt get the answer because the door in that moment slowly started to open to the sides. The whole team entered through the gate and landed in the trans corridor. Here large quantities of gas were transported outside, untill the aliens attacked the station. The whole team started to go down the corridor checking for any hostiles. "We are inside." ...

And let this be a note to all you rambos out there. Never chase the gorge into what seems like empty corridors, for you might end up human jam like the ha.
<span style='font-family:Times'><span style='font-size:11pt;line-height:100%'>"head onwards to sector E35 and hold position until I give further orders" clicked back the comms.
The 4 marines stalked down the dim corridor, the ship uttering groans and hisses as they progressed. Every shadow was watched with a keen eye and every flicker of a broken light brought yet another sharp pang of anticipation, the only feeling of reassurance being the big metal brother that clanked along at their rear like some iron god.
Soon they reached a door and on punching the access button on the panel it opened to a leviathan room, shrouded in darkness and crammed with shadowy rows of what appeared to be pressure tanks. A strange, pungeant odour seemed to crawl through the doorway, a strange damp scent tinged with chemicals.
With his face lit only by the faint blue glow of his tracker Private Carlsen studied the ship diagrams before looking up at the others and nodding. Private Pierce cracked on her comm, still with her gun pointed into the silent blackness...
"Uh, we've got a bit of a lighting problem here, any breakers gone out or should we be worried?"
There was a moment of silence before the commanders authoritive tones broke out over the channel in response,
"Squad 5 is working on that now, power should be restored to the area any moment."
As if on cue the the lights sparked to life, dousing the room in a gentle blue glow.
The third member of their squad covered his mic with his hand,
"what do you mean 'should we be worried'? They're just animals, it's not as if they'd have the intelligence to know what we're doing or how to cut the power!"
Pierce Just looked over at him, her expression undiscernible behind her visor.
"I don't care what they are, I'm not planning on dying just because we underestim-"
Her words were cut short as the Heavy behind suddenly them opened fire into the room...</span></span>

Well I'm pretty sure you thought of that stuff off the top of your head as did I. Nothing to be ashamed of, pretty good for just quick thinking. Most people can't even do that. Your talented buddy. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
They continued going down the corridor. The HA looked at the map ,which was in his one hand , and then around. "Okay. Now we have to turn here and..." he didnt finish. The reason was quiet unknown. Was it the falling cieling, or the wave of skulks which came through the newly opened hole. Either way the HA Marine, and two other marines fired at the skulks retreating at the same time, toward the mechanized door. While the forth marine screamed in pain when three skulks started to rip him apart...

Thanks for your constructive critisism. By reading your insightful comment, which is both instructive and witty, we've not only gleamed that you've obviously read every post in great detail but that you have vast reserves of writing skill yourself from which you can judge our individual writing styles for flaws and mistakes.

Okay. So show us how great you are.
Due to my slow typing skills my addition to this post is now placed to a lower post.
lol, oh alright, I'll just make it the default font... I was just trying to make it look different and that was the most legible ^^;
<b>edit:</b> I sized it up instead, is that any better? =o
The comm phased their hapless and gravely injured squadmate to safety. The sound of another phase and four heavy armoured rines arrived. These were armed with the latest weapons and called the two lights and their fellow heavy to fall behind.
What ensured was a massacre. The new 80mm grenade launchers made mince meat of the massed skulks. The two heavy machine gunners were most put out due to the callous thoughtless action. Now why did you do that asked one of the heavy gunners.
When will I get to christen my new baby, he asked stroking with long firm rubs. They looked down the corridor into the eyes of an onos. Aaah fitting practise for my baby said the same rine.
The hellish sound of 80 calibre projectiles leaving their enclosed space at supersonic speeds, had the lights covering their ears and cringing in dismay.

For example! After the first post that was a good start someone throws in aliens directly and destroys the mood right on! Then they use ingamewords that makes it even more !/!()8!)(
Anyhow sure I will make an own thread where I will write a story. Give me some time.
In other words your comment is slightly out of place.
Mine doesn't have any aliens in it at all.

NOOO We hate democracy! No free will or actions!
People should be connected to a big brain in utah that monitors and controls their minds. <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Suddenly something caught my attention. Distant cries of my brethren… the intruders! I ran through an opening in my vent. Running, a myriad of light came after me…
meh... it sucks... <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Just some leftovers of what everyone else is doing with the alien perspective.
