By calling it ridiculous and stupid? Alas, esuna has redefined the meaning of constructive criticism.

edit: so I looked at the nsarmslab site. now, as we all know, I lack a certain aspect of intelligence most people seem to have, so it was surprising to me (and many others) that I could find the models section without any problem. And my oh my. Did they have a lot of models -- much more then t2k, in fact. Now, I will take this time to point out the fact that neither esuna, nor anyone else has the right to dictate how so or so website looks like. If they don't like it, feel free to suck bigbull's "thing" and not use NSA, ok?

I still don't like the fact they charge 7 bucks for reserve slots, when many servers do the same for free, however .

Bigbull was experimenting and trying something new. New stuff doesn't always work, and he's learned that now. He could have, however, just made a Generic Webpage, instead he chose to use his creative fervor to create something new and exciting. Unfortunately, such non-conformist ideas and designs have always been under fire by those unwilling or just too "arrogant" to accept change such as yourself.

In conclusion, shutup and stop spamming.

    Thats a nother issue.

Reserved Slots for money were requested by the regs that play there.

And its higher than 5 for the extra stuff we give res slotists.

Like they get to test the competition maps, and get early practice and stuff.

We are trying to get away from the same red and black NS theme, and template websites. You try doing an NS community, then you can come and talk to esnuaesnaa

    Ps.

It's also wrong. Apparantly Mr. BigBull here is only 13 or 14.

And as to sitting at home playing video games, i happen to be in a break between semester one and two while i study for my degree in graphic design. Yes kids, a degree, a big piece of paper that says i know more.

What's more, i also hear that the website design work has nothing to do with BigBull, and looking at the creators webpage, i can believe that.

Why would someone pay someone else to do their web design work and claim it to be their own?

    That sickens me.

As to non-conformist ideas and designs....... I love them. Being a web designer i love innovative and cool design. I frequently spend time looking at art sites and designer portfolios for inspiration. But guess what, this is neither an art site or a portfolio. There's a time and a place for everything, this is not it.

I'm calling it ridiculous now, yes. Because believe me, i have posted detailed reasons as to why, and practical alternative suggestions. But you figure when you're ignored or flamed so many times for nothing but being helpful, you decide to not bother even being civil.

Guess what, i still actually visit NSArmslab, i'm sure if they checked their status they'd see my IP there a number of times. But from a useability point of view, it is worthless, and if someone's having a problem with the interface, i'd recommend they go elsewhere.

Every person that asks how to use it is a testament as to why BigBull is wrong.

Also, how much did that interface cost you, and how much money are you going to have wasted to change it?

I would hate to bust on anyone here, I know I have no beef with BigBull or any of the NSA staff, but I only see 58 downloads in their custom detail section, as opposed to the 84 downloads T2K offers (assuming I caught the total of two broken downloads on the site.)

esuna raises a good point, and I've always held personal bias against all-flash or flash-based sites, but we won't go there. The "customer is always right" holds true just as much as if you were managing a retail outlet, except that customer is paying you in traffic rather than money.

If I recall, at one point T2K was peaking at 10,000 hits per day, but don't quote me on that. The point is made that by excluding 10% of your userbase with an all-flash design means that those 750 people are going to tell all their friends about how horrible, mean, and mismanaged your site is, and will not be as forgiving as the critics on this forum are, thereby chasing off visitors (and let's look at it from a money angle, potential donators).

Oh and this reminds me of something. When you add a model to the costum section, write down the RIGHT credits w/o any typos. Those credits are so full of typos.

to be honest i see nothing wrong with the site, in fact it looks damm good

to be honest why discriminate on basis of age, you taking your degree so your waht 22?? ish

you clearly will know more than a 13-14 year old as youve had more education that he hasnt had a chance of recieving yet,

and to be honest the whole thing reeks of maturity... (spot the sarcasm)

Be glad I don't have the time to go through this entirely, you wouldn't get out with quite a few suspensions.
