<div class="IPBDescription">Is This SDR Ram Or DDR ?</div> I'll keep it short and sweet.
I've purchased some nice cheap DDR Ram
for my system. It's in and running fine.
But where do I go to find out if the Ram is actually
DDR and i've haven't been sold SDR?
Thanks in advance. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

SDram won't fit in a DDR slot and vice versa.

Haha you're not the most positive of posters are you Mr Dubers? :-D
As per usual I didn't "THINK" before posting.... I have 4
Ram Slots on my motherboard. 2 are black, 2 are blue.
My old 512 SDR was in a black slot and the new sticks
of DDR are in the blue. Upon closer inspection I realised
that these 2 slots are very different (not just in colour!).
So it appears i'm going to have to trust the stickers on the
Ram itself... and the fact that if it was SDR... it wouldn't even fit!.
Thanks for the replies.
