    I don't know what your problem may be but type "retry" in console and you'll get connected back.

    O.K.

    Been playin NS from its inception. Never had a problem whatsoever with this mod...until STEAM.
    As stated above, its always at the level change in ready room...i get DISCONNECTED or IT FREEZES like 90+ percent of the time. and im forced to Alt+Ctrl+Delete or ill get lucky and only get booted back to the Steam GUI screen... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> ...or sometimes ill even get a HL warning box that informs me half-life performed illegal yada yada yada... <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    This disconnect problem is very annoying and frustrating...im thinking 3.0 will solve some issues but until then im very hesitant to waste my time on this game...being that the FIRST FEW MINUTES of this game is important and having to reconnect and join to me makes it almost pointless, especially on pub servers where games can end in minutes.

    thanks for any possible help... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    yes, steam and 2.0 don't get along (remember 2.0 was simpyl not designed ussing the steam tools)

    As a POSSIBLE fix you can try intalling/reinstalling the ns2.0 Steam BETA client (found in the open beta forum)

    Again, the map change discon/crash is very common and there is no known fix.

    exept for ussing 3.0 <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    and yes it is compleatly fixed in 3.0 <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    You have the problems right there. NVidia OpenGL drivers (GeForce to be precise) have an issue with Steamed NS(most of the time).

    Unfortunately there is no fix ATM, so your best bet is to wait until 3.0 is released.

    Try leaving the console open when the level is loading. I've heard that having it up will prevent the disconnection.

    dragon, I realy doubt it. There is nothing having the con open could possibly do (that I know of) that owuld stop a crash

    however there is another solution:
    Wait till 3.0 come out (wich should be very soon <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> well the open beta atleast <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
