    Valve hasn't given an official release date since the Sept. 30 affair (to think how much flak <i>we</i> had to take for not making it in the expected <i>week</i>), so September is as good as any other guess.

    And if we see it 2005, I do not care. Valve tends to produce quality - yes, I <i>am</i> aware of Steam while doing this statement - and I'm fully willing to wait for them to get it done.

    For myself, I'd be happy to wait until September. By then I'll have a computer capable of doing HL2 the full justice it deserves. I'm quite convinced that HL2 will be a great game, so I really don't mind the wait.

    Um, they've only had one good game (HL), expansion packs and mods were not fully created by them either. And then there's STEAM and that other forgettable software they attempted but bombed. So no, they're far from a Blizzard/Pixar-quality record.

    Did you expect the leak to be the full game? Yeah, it's obvious that HL2 wasn't done by the Sept. 30 release date, but I've played the Beta and I don't think that's as far as they've gotten with the game. Remember, some guy just compiled it from the source code, it's not like he haxed into Valve's computers and stole the whole thing from right under their noses.

    The leak wasn't representative of what they had done, considering the leak was <i>after</i> E3, yet contained less than what valve had shown in video form.
    Think before you believe such rubbish.
