<!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> i hope the GL will be tweaked slightly weaker..
it seems out of all the games i had, most marines win combat games by GL spamming with HA. i hope the blast radius may be smaller by a little or teh damage slightly reduced.
I think NS 3.0 is a big step forward actually. At least in pub play, I have seen many turns in matches lately, on both sides. I don't even think that the game is terribly unbalanced.
As for Combat, I refer to it as NS:Training or NS:Bootcamp. It has made me much more effective with aliens than I ever was before, and even as a marine I learned a trick or two. It's nice also as you aren't as harshly punished for dying (losing all your stuff) - but I think once I feel my aim and ability has improved, I will play more and more NS:Classic. th One bug I noticed is that SoF seems to work 50% of all time in Combat if I had it in a previous game but not in the curret one. Odd.
Fade changes... I really hope regen/metabolize stacking actually works this time. It got annoying having to time the meta right after the regen tick to double hp gain.

In 2.01 I was an unstoppable 2 hive onos. Maybe i'll just have to adjust my tactics.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Wow, and just a little while ago people, including myself, were complaining how quick onos died against a single HMG. "Unstoppable" indeed.

I didn't realize the regeneration didn't work when I was metabolizing until last night of play in combat. I just hope they don't overlook something like this when the final build comes out.
I wish something could be done about team stacking, as almost every server I play on has always 2 more people on one side. I remember back in 1.0 versions, it was the Alien team that was stacked. 3.0 now has the Marine teas being stacked more often. 2.0 on the other hand, I noticed very few games where this was a problem. Why is this? The games in 3.0 that HAVE been even teams, it ended up in a lot of back and forth, never knowing who's going to win outcomes. I enjoy these the most.
Oh, and something else. I know no one here has actually said this but I see it all the time. Since all the new people want to play Combat, there is no need to make fun of them in any way. They are just playing something they are more use to playing. Eventually, they'll play Classic more and more on server rotations, get the hang of it, and start enjoying it. Since Classic is all I've played since 1.0 and all we've played till now, of course we will want to play what we are used to.
Ok, so everyone join hands and... wait! I've gone too far! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Does it include strafing as well?
Then again, I'm not in the least bit concerned about combat really. NS classic seems to be really interesting once again.
I'm pleased anyway.
