whats the highest connection speed you need to go to get a 26 man stable server?

a 1mbps connection? a 2mpbs connection? and it goes on what would be most effective for a 26 man that will absolutley cause no slow downs when there are 26 people in there? and please dont be a smart arse and say 10! I want to know the lowest figure it uses without causing lag to 26 people.

I would say probbably would be a T1.

on my 2.5mb cable connection, it laggs like hell with just 6 people.

You'll need a bit more than a T1 for a 26man stable server IMO.

With just a t1, the server's maxrate would have to be about 5-6000, which is a bit low.

NS is unplayable at 26 people. The maps and the game balance are aimed at around 12 players. Lots of servers go up to 18 or 20 OK, but much beyond that will not be fun IMO.

wintermute then you obviously havent played on battleforthegalaxy servers that hold 30 people and are always full, very fun.
