Sometime Wrong With Screen

Yes i have looked through this forum and looked through everything u guys said about screen problems in ns 3.0 However no luck i cant seem to find a solution for the problem i have. When ever i join a server my screen just doesnt work. I can hear myself moving around but i cant see because it gets stuck at one frame. However when i bring down the console the screen refreshes to where i am currently looking at in the game. I bring exit the console and the screen stays stuck in one frame again. Now when i create a server and play everything is fine. This problem only occurs when i join a game. I have a tnt2 gfx card and 1.2 ghz comp Fps rates range from 30 - 40.
