Selecting Upgrades

I have looked everhwhere, but i havent been able to find a list of how many kills you need to get certain upgrades.

I dl 3.0 about 30mins ago and i havent been able to upgrade my weapons. I have manged to get the jetpack, and an armour upgrade(i dont know how i did it, i think it was on accident <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

I cant figure out how to get HA/shottie/HMG, can someone plz help?

(i know about the menu screen etc, i just cant seem to get the upgrades despite the fact that i have killed 5+ aliens)

Some upgrades have requirements.

You have to get lvl1 damage before you can get the shotgun

You need lvl1 armor to get lvl2 armor, which you need to get jp or ha.

And note that some upgrades take 2 points, such as the jp.

And are you sure u were on a combat map?
If you lost your JP or HA when you died it means you were in a NS mode map <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

yea u got to get certian stuff to get others
aliens is alittle easier to fiqure out

I have been playing NS for about 3months, its just this combat mode that has got me all confused, its more trial and error then anything.
