What Happened To Free Look?

it was kind of exploitable. You could die as a marine and listen to which hive was up first.

Also, you could also see cloaked players, so when you spawned, you could know where to shoot.

Plus, you could float through walls and get the hall of mirrors effect.

Overall, I think it's mainly for cosmetics.

But in normal spectator mode it should be allowed.

Plus, it still kinda works in a half **** way if no one is connected.

umm i think i found a bug where u could do free look when ur dead. It kind of happens when u die and are about to respawn in combat u can move around a bit but it looks messed up(like youve respawned and are moving around normally, but are still dead). Then you respawn.
any one else seen this?

It must be a technical reason why they take it out. Otherwise it would be still in spectator mode. I really hope it comes back.
