Well I've eventually learned how to use photoshop, and well I can't stay away from it now, so I've spent the last few weeks (on and off) making this wallpaper for you all.
Heres the linky - <a href='http://www.nse.nssource.co.uk/ns3backdrop/' target='_blank'>teh sexy wallpaper</a> (hopefully those resolutions should keep most of you happy, sorry I cant make the image in any other proportions and any bigger than 1400 because of the size of the original screenshots <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
(I hope you all notice my little tribute to bast, probably my second favorite map, only beaten by nancy <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
And Thank you to Cory "Squeal Like a Pig" Strader, for letting me use his amazing hand drawn marine.
Hope you all enjoy it.

Yeah I liked the onos there, took ages to get looking as good as it does, any hints on getting it to blend in with the background a little better?
Anyway I'm going to try and work on some other desktops.
but i dont use wallpapers <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
lol, a skulk had them for lunch <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
0 Put in some shooting shotgun light armored rine for the Onos to be eatin'.
0 Make the Marine on the left more dangerous looking somehow, it kinda looks like he's posing (maybe use a different source 'Rine)
0 Maybe a Skulk on the ceiling or something, just so everyone knows that 'Rine is boot fooked.
Like I said before, it's awesome now. Those are changes I would make if I had to change it.
P.S. Blurrage = No, please. Sharp Onos == Dangerous Onos
Makes a nice replacement for my TSA Matrix wallpaper.
Yeah well it took about 30mins to cut out with the magnetic lasso tool and then another hour and a half to go round with a brush getting rid of all the extra crap
The marine was a lot quicker because, well hes smaller and the shape is easier, though getting rid of that laser took forever <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
anyway thanx everyone for the support, im gonna try and make a "Natural Selection Combat" wallpaper now, want to see if i can make that cool metalic effect used on the Combat text. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> .
Does anyone know how to get rid of the hud (specifically the crosshair) so i can get some nice screenies?
Great work fella!
I suggest using "Extract" (Filter > Extract or Alt+Ctrl+X). Much easier and faster <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I am having the same problem.
