    That probably means you're running an outdated version of HL with the 2.0 NS mod.

    In which case update to the latest version of HL.


    If you're running under steam, then you shouldn't have that error at all.

    you probably have a different version of NS installed then the server, there are currently:

    NS 2.0
    NS 3.0 closed beta (vets/consties/PTs had this, and should have deleted it by now)
    NS 3.0 Open Beta 1
    NS 3.0 Open Beta 2

    make sure you match the server.
