Suspect: Crosshair Disappearing

Sometimes it occurs that the crosshair is not showing up when playing as Marine. This happens in regular ns aswall as in combat.
Neither swiching through the weapons nor crosshair 1 in the console brings it back.
Also I havn't found a certain pattern when this occurs yet, all I know is, that it happened 4 times to me during the last week.
I'll try to find a way to reprodue it actively, but for now it seems to occur randomly.

Anyone else who experienced the same?

do you have any scripts to toggle the pop-up menu from your keyboard? Someone else reported an exactly similar outcome from using a script to toggle it... ( <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=60620&hl=popit' target='_blank'>thread here</a>

i had a similar problem a while back, and i thought somehow my crosshair sprite was deleted, but romano gave me a console comand that fixed it immediately

nope, it's unmodified, and I have no scripts running.

The console command which you are mentioning is proably "crosshair 0" / "crosshair 1" which swiches the croshair off/on.
But when this occurs, the console command does not change anything and the crosshair does not come back. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
