One screenshot...read disclaimer
Disclaimer: This screenshot does not represent this level except by geometry. The lighting is low in this area, and maybe one or two others. This is intentional. If everything was bright, it'd be boring eh? This also does not capture the level with its pretty lighting as well as it is in game. For some reason screen shots are never as good as the ingame experience, you know what I mean? I was disappointed while messing with the brightness in this shot.

    *cough* edit button *cough*

Looks pretty good, but I had to look at it a bit to determine that. Might want to make the room a lot shorter; the ceiling is a bit high up.

I know about the edit button but it just felt better to reply to my own post...or something to that effect.

In the picture, he's ducking. The ceiling really isn't that high.

While it's a little too dark to really be sure, the architecture and texturing looks fine. The only thing I would say is that the lighting looks a little too white and boring. Add in some colored ambients--they don't have to give much light (although with a well-chosen color this could look really good), just enough so that it throws some contrast into the mix.

*edit* And oh yes, I know exactly what you mean with the screenshots not looking as good as the in-game feel. I know it all too well.

I've tweaked the gamma a bit, messed with some of the lights, and just out of that shot is something that actually helps the atmosphere's light variety, but i dont want to post any more just yet.

basically this was an excuse to announce and confirm this maps existence

What is wrong with having a high ceiling? I've always found that would add a greater sense of depth to that area of the map, which could add to the claustraphobia.
