Got to this one after your second pic, I LOVE the pose of the marine, awesome pose. I wouldn't have been able to draw that without either:
A) Posing my EVA figure like that B) Posing a friend like that
Mines nowhere near as good as Delta's, but it's my best colouring job ever
The hand with the knife is covered in blood, yet the knife h4xz0rz so it is not
I, personally, like the sketchy style. And good coloring everyone!

If you look closely you can see my attempts (Most not visable on the arm). Some is less then others actauly, I added more cell shade-age then what you do. But I still need to do some tutorials on it, I dont like the style much but I like to mix things up, Do two in one, Add to the effect!

And now time for the suggestion/comment paddle. *paddle* Good cell shading, Really! *paddle* If your using photoshop it isnt a bad idea to Dodge or Burn your edges of the picture with a low power, It adds a nice effect!

wow u like it, its my second attempt at colouring anything in (omg) ms paint, im really happy that someone with your skill likes it
remember that the shoulder moves a lot less than the arm in that sweeping movement, so the shoulder should have next to no blur, while the knife should have quite a lot of blur on it. plus, if you're going to add blur, the skulk would be the best place to put it
That is, as I would say "true" but It's too late to edit the blurring now, and I decided not to add blur to the skulk because, well, I just didn't feel like it. I had it in mind though.
Jerburto: Seriously! Get a better program! If you can do that in paint I cant imagine what you could do with a better program!
Jez:Good coloring! I would say maybe a bit better then my first go, Of course I didnt have help! Read all my suggestions to you on the page before this one!
Coby: Err.. You left some things uncolored bud, Or wrongly colored to say better. The belt, And the gaurd I dont know if its attatched were not colored, Or you just colored em wrong! Over all nice coloring, I try to leave special effects out of mine because, Well I suck at em
Seems like the artwork forum is finaly becoming alive agian, Theres still a gigantic gap between us New Artists and the awsome ones.
another little update, i think im gettin better at this colouring thing now
u know i would? and i do really but i try so much!! i need a really good drawing tutrioal.....WAIT I KNOW A WAY TO SOLVE MY PROBLEMS!! ill take an art class!!!
Delta I am also aware of that, I colored it with absolutely no reference, I originally had the whole boot done green, then checked a reference pic of a marine model, then noticed it's like.. weird color with some metal-ish parts as details, so I just quickly did it. And well, the belt and such like I said aren't there cause I had no idea what part should and what shouldn't be covered with a specified colors (The right little thing in the belt has been unsuccesfully shaded with too light green)
I should remake it sometime, but I think I'll instead just move along to a next one and learn from my mistakes. Im still on the stage of practising to give the right sort of colors and shading to an image
Ah, sup guys. I was gone a few days, but I'm back now... and wow. Thanks for the huge feedback and I never thought this thread would generate so much activity over my drawing, especially in the Art Forums.
Thanks everyone for their compliments, too.
Good job on the coloring guys. I think I'm going to go draw something more! Dun dun dunnnnn......
