Connecting To Dedicated Sever

<div class="IPBDescription">dedicated server</div> Hey, i was able to get ded. sever to show up in steam dedicated list ,just put nsp folder in dedicated folder and it showed up on steam list. started nsp beta3, it showed up on sever list just fine but when i tried to join one computer just retried and could not connect the other said steam id., invalid. Althought it could join other severs fine.any step buy step help would be great. Have some custom maps for combat and regular ns3 i would like to play test with people.     you're using the same e-mail address for both client and server. that can cause problems when the server tries to auth you.

    First off I urge anyone to install their HLDS into the root directory and NOT use the Steam folder (for several reasons, your problem being one of them). I posted a How To for creating a Steam Win32 hlds <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47673' target='_blank'>here</a>, but this was posted back when Steam was released so I can't guarantee the links are all correct.

    Let me add that I recommend version 4111d for your hlds. There are some good posts on these fora on how to install a hlds also.
