Ns3.0 Problems

I am currently haveing problems logging on to NS 3.0 beta servers, whenever i try to log onto a server a message appears saying either that my client.dll, or my version of the map is different from the servers.
I have compleatly uninstalled Steam, NS 2.0, NS 3.0, and Half-life and tried reinstalling everything, but this has not helped.
Can anyone help, is it possible that servers are using old versions of the Maps?, was there a server update?, what is the client.dll file for, and was it transfered from another file by Steam?

Also to let you all know, at first i had no porblems with Steam, but agter a few day i was givin a message that my account had expired, an i could not log back onto it. So i created a new account, but could not register my half-life key, and eventually was able to log on to my old account. The 2nd account has caused me many problems, but i believe i fixed that when is un-installed and re-installed everything.

Also i have no problems playing anyother games on steam, so i dont believe its an identification problem.

Please Help...

This thread is the same you should read through and try everything people say and try to Install 3.0 beta 2 to a different directory like C:/nsp and then copy everything from there to c:/program files/steam/blahblah/nsp and overwrite it. that fixed my problem.
