Wrong Sound For Wrong Guns

the sounds were fine last night but tonight they are different. the pistol is the shotty the welder is the pistol . i think the shotty is the lmg and so on
does anyone know howto fix this without having to clean it out and reinstall it

did you try restarting steam/hl/(maybe your computer?) other than that I don't think why this would happen... but if you do try to reinstall, remember to save your *.cfg files so you don't have to setup your keys and stuff again.

a simple restart SHOULD do it.

if not (an you don't wana just reinstall) you can open up your dir and poke around in the sounds directory (to see if they some how got misslabled <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
