Slide half-life is now a fact!

Well, soon it will be...
Well, school started a few weeks back, and with it, the school project... You can basicly do whatever you want, as long as you make a report in the end.
Which brings me to the point:
Me and some friends are going to have a hl mod as our project, and we've decided it will be Slide Half-Life. (maby the name will change though...) (the idea came from slide quake if you're interested.) Some of you migh remember another topic I made some time ago, where I mentioned this.
Well, I will be the mapper for the mod, I've got a programmer, my friends will probably take care of the website when it's created (I don't know anything else they can do... hehe)
So, what we need would be someone to make us some models/skins/animations, something in the "gordon on a hoverboard"-style, pretty simple... Hehe, and maby texures (not necesarily tho... we'll just use the hl textures since it's slide "HL"... hehe)
And since there's so many talented people around here, I thought I'd ask if there's anyone that'd like to join in and help us with this.
Posting here about it will be fine... (or PM:ing me if you don't want to... hehe)
Also, for those who want to check out slide quake:
The S-L-I-D-E Home Page
Which is the only place I know where you can download it...
edit:
To start a slide map type "map slstart" in the console to go to the level selection map.
And don't forget to hold down the firebutton while sliding, cuz if you don't, you won't be able to steer very good and you will quickly loose speed if you even try to...

I am a mapper and I know how detailed you can make maps so yes mapping is very time consuming, but I'm going to have to say after doing some programming of my own that is more challenging and time consuming, and a good modeler and skinner is hard to come by believe you me.
So you are having the two hardest jobs done by some one who ain't getting a grade on the project! More importantly as you know probably 90% of all mods die off before release, when if your programmer leaves and you can't find a modeler? SCREWED! F--!! Not good if you trying to graduate!
So what am I saying? I don’t really know... I guess it's a great idea but if you really want to get it done, and your going to be spending allot of time (kind of home work and gaming time together) you should invest it in learning some coding. Modeling is allotted harder to learn right off the bat and get good results. Maybe teach one of your friends to map a little. Or you’re going to be doing everything on your own.
Take my advice for what its worth and it’s worth exactly what you paid for it.
As long as you hand in a report of some type then you've finished the project is the way I'm reading it... is that right?
And if the programmer leaves? Well, then I'll just jump over to plan B, a singleplayer mod... where mapping is all I have to do... (mostly)
And Jeb... Working with other people and for example using english while your'e at it is good too! (I'm from Sweden.) This project involves alot more than just the modding part... My tutor actually encouraged me to find a programmer to help us and such...
Heh, and my tutor doesn't know **** about modding or games, so I don't think there's much of a problem really...
It's not entierly sure this mod will ever be released... but if it's not finished by the time the school project is over, there's nothing stopping us from continuing on the mod after that...
edit: And if it is released, I don't think there would be that many internet servers... it would probably be one of those smaller mods that you would play on a LAN... or just by yourself...
