anyone ever used Fruityloops? its a serious version of this concept, giving you complete control over the "numbers" to make any sort of song, pretty amazing, and pretty expensive stuff.
i just wish i had the creativity to create anything!

A lot of the comments on Newgrounds said that this flash was like a flash version of Fruity Loops except with a better interface, although I wouldn't know since I've never felt the need to try it, and I'm not exactly musical anyways (I play drums, which are not a MUSICAL intrument)

Yours wasn't bad. One thing though, you'll notice that I avoided, was the 'sudden stops' in sound. It makes it sound very choppy. (Well, tried to avoid it. Sometimes the tunes just don't transfer over to the next very well)
One way to cover it up, as I did, is with a power chord, or a strong ending tune. If you can't do either, then mask it with the drums. But having 3 players going, then suddenly it all stops to one guy just didn't sound right But I was especially fond of the use of tune 11 for the basist.

Jezpuh, I don't care for yours, they're too repetative for my tastes
The way I write songs for the thing is to have the drums (almost) always playing, and one of the leads be playing the main part, supported by the other lead. Sounds better to me, because most of the time the two leads dont harmonize with eachother.

The stuff it pumps out isn't too bad, but it's not fast enough, and also it could have been better it they let you listen to the samples before you put them in.

Added more onto my song. I think I'll start a new one, or build off of this one again...I'm not sure.
