    Be nice, than...

    We'll need more info, VM:

    -Operating System
    -Processor/Ram/etc
    -Time since last format

whatever you can tell us about it.

    Scan for viruses
    Scan for spyware/adware
Are you running any P2P programs?

I have Windows ME, Pentium 4. 516 MB RAM, ATI 9000 pro 128 mb graphics card and I formatted a few weeks ago.

P.S I run virus scans, Spybot, Ad-Aware my disk drives are FAT 32, everythings optimized, registry is clean, everythings perfect with no reason to malfunction.

is your ram one stick or two? if two run system with only one of them in at a time if it freezes with one and no the other thats your problem

second get a mobo utility and monitor your CPU temp might have a cooling problem

Yeah, if the comp freezes after a few mins, it's usually cooling...

But in this case it could also be ME <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

ME was quickly replaced for a reason...

Anyway, I once had a similar problem where my computer would randomly restart, mainly during high usage but sometimes during light usage.

Turned out I had some bad ram.
