Connecting To Servers.

I recently installed the Natural Selection beta and ran it using Steam. Everything was fine for a few days, and then suddenlt I was no longer able to connect to any servers.

Every time I tried, I recieved the message "Your .dll [cl_dlls\client.dll] differs from the servers". Can anyone tell me what this means or how to fix the problem?

Most likely means you're running an out of date version.

The NS team and Steam are not very good about explaining this. Check the downloads page for the latest 3.0 beta patch.

If the server is running NS 3.0 Beta 2 and you have Beta 1, you're going to run into problems.

That is the most likely scenario.

The other possibility (unlikely) is that your client.dll is corrupt. This can be caused by viruses or other malicious programs. If you're sure you have the latest version and it still does that, try reinstalling.
