<div class="IPBDescription">looking for similar music...</div> Though I'm loathe to say this, I've found that I DO like Ayumi Hamasaki, or at least the DJ Aero and cyberTRANCE remixes.

Can anyone suggest similar music to me? More specifically, Jpop and anime remixes done in a heavy trance style...

    I have no idea what your saying. By deciphering parts of the code, I advise you to go <a href='http://www.di.fm' target='_blank'>here.</a>

    I think that Ayumi Hamasaki is very overrated, but I recommend "move". They did some of the music on Initial D. If you're looking for a good example, look for "Super Sonic Dance" and "Over Drive".

    [EDIT] Just to add: They're not trancey, but they're sort of dance. Not poppy, really.

    I recommend the whole genre of European Vocal Trance. Can't go wrong, just don't go domestic.

    Usually if you like niche genres like anime music you'll like the broader base just as much if not more, or so I've noticed.

    Hi TKA <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Well, I listen to Digitally Imported fairly regularly; I was looking more specifically for jpop/anime remixes because there'd be some recognizable tunes in there (even though I don't watch much anime, I'm exposed to the music a lot).

    For the most part, I don't like Jpop (or any other pop for that matter), which is why I didn't like Ayu... and then I heard my roommate listening to a DJ Aero remix... :/

    I have Ayu's "Ayu Trance album" pretty good.

    I also have her "Connected" single pretty good.
