I can save money and still enjoy all the things I like to enjoy.
Took me about 2 months to SAVE (Not spending it) up $2500 grand. And I must have had about 1000 in 'spending' money.

They just have LARGE AMOUNTS OF AWESOMENESS.
Take my huge giganto Star Wars collection. It's cool to me, as anime is to Infy. If someone wants to blow their money on something, then that's how it works. Or something. I'm watching TV as I type this.
Have you seen those 1:1 scale Evangelion dolls? (the characters, not the robots) God I would kill for those =D

Well it's the more of the non-serious versions of it. The little cat/rabit thing loved carrots. It was pretty recent to a couple of years. Was on the Cartoon Network. I saw the other version, but didn't care much for it.

Yea that's Tenchi Muyo, I used to watch it everyday. Tenchi is such a little punk I swear. "Gurls stop iiittt!" Cmon man, now if it were me, "Ryo-Ohko, Aeka, and Sasami, please follow me to some tea and ice cream, in my um, yes, my room."
And I shudder to think what you would do with a lifesize Rei Ayanami doll.
To go off topic (well, not THAT off topic, this post IS anime related), I finally finished Evangelion. Man that was one f***ed up series. Episodes 1-14 were fairly okish, nothing awesome, but better than most of the crap you see on TV these days.
Episodes 15 16 and 17 were pretty good, with some more "deep" plot finally showing through.
Episodes 18 and 19 were awesomeness made anime.
Episode 21 (i think?) was severely f**ked up, but I suppose it got the point across.
22-24 (i think) were good again, and seemed at the time to be leading up to a big awesome fiery apocalyptic finale.
Episodes 25 and 26 were without doubt THE biggest pile of excrement I have ever had the misfortune to spend an hour of my life watching. Episode 25 was "Let's emphasise all the points we've already made in previous episodes and tie it together with 2 minutes of filler", while 26 was "Uh, we've run out of money, lets get some 2 year old monkys to script and animate it, and call it an ending."
Yes I realise Gainax really DID run out of money at that point, so i'm just hoping the movie (which i'm borrowing of a friend as soon as he remembers to bring it in) is a more satisfying ending. Apparently it isn't.

Well, I'm basically an anime n00b, only found a few series I like so far (GITS:SAC, Evangelion, Trigun, you know, the sci-fi ones). Anyone have any recommendations? I heard Full Metal Panic is pretty good.
