Need Some Help

my friend is trying to install hl and he gets this error: "keyboard bindings file:kb_keys.lst is empty." anyone know how to fix this problem?

so, does he get this error when INSTALLING, or when trying to play?

if it is during instalation get a new copy of the files (look around for other threads that are about DL problems and I have a good way of getting them postedi n there)

If it is when trying to play, simply download the attached file and put it into this dir:
steam\steamApps\yourEmail\half-life\nsp\gfx\shell

I just re-downloaded ns, and reinstalled, was a corrupt installation file.
