Dedicated Server ?

<div class="IPBDescription">:( :( :(</div> I downloaded and installed Steam then went and downloaded the NS 3.0 Beta 1 and installed it shortly after i got the Beta 2 update then decided i wanted to run a dedicated server to play with friends. So i went and downloaded the Dedicated server beta 1 and then got the beta 2 update and copyied those files in order from the dedicated 1 to 2 to my NS directory in Steam/steamapps/email/nsp blah blah and it asked to overwrite the old files and i accepted and exited steam. After starting steam i looked in my games list and clicked on the dedicated server icon located in the games list and started that up only to find that NS was not in the game list in the dedicated server options there for i cannot get a dedicated server running can anyone possibly help ?

Please be more specific in what you did, post like this:

I did the following:

1) install ....
2) download ....
3) install ....

I can harly make anything out of that text you've got there.
So be very clear on the steps you took, then we can help you.

Dont make a ded server when you want to play with your friends. Just make a listen server. (Rememebr to set sv_lam to 0)

Ok i had to Format my computer so im back to clean start can u tell me how u installed the stuff and got the dedicated server running ? Since i havent installed NS yet How should I ?
