Haha..good going...can't even register at all...and no, I don't have a single program which might interfear with the registration or anything like ISP or the like...
Guess all hotmail users are screwed cause I think that's my problem...(verification link)

I .. dont get the part about mutlipule servers running one battle. I mean, how many people play at one time on these servers, and is it just ONE map (IE all servers are pooled to make one game if its possible) or is it mutlipule games?
For now we are just using one server. The server will run 1 map for 12 hours.. You do not have to play for the full 12 hours. You log on teamspeak and see if you are needed if you are you will get the password and join the server. If you are not needed you will be put in a reinforcement line to wait for a spot to open up. In the past we used 2 servers running the same map for 12 hours. We used 2 diffrent teamspeak channels..
I think we are looking at 9v9 or 11v11 tournaments.. Its like a 9v9 scrim for 12 hours. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
We'll probably have the 2nd server back up and running soon. In that case what happens is that both servers play the same map, individually on each server.
I validate my email, it asks me to continue to the profile section, but when I press continue, I end up right back in the beginning of the registration...(new membership or renewing part that is)...and I can't do jack...
except the times i die even though i am already around the corner and i die even as i am out of range of any weapon... or when a skulk bites me from forty feet away with forty foot long teeth...
lol but besides that, i have loads of fun... its great coordination but at the same time there is no actual obligation to do anything...
the only people who actually spend loads of time with the tournament is admins, officers, and other volunteers...
lol... I get 60 ping and I still die around 40 feet from the skulk and around corners and for no reason at all. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Your just mad you cannot follow simple rules.. And posting spam on the BFTG forums just to make the admins mad is not a good idea. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
As for the people who reside outside of the USA, fear not. Your ping may be a bit higher than USA players, but by maybe 10 - 20. I've tweaked the server and added a few things that keeps just about every single player's ping under 100. C'mon and join the fun @ www.battleforthegalaxy.com
Yes, i have learned alot from all of the people at BFTG, and now i am a good player, so i would say to join up, cause its the best thing so far! <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif' /><!--endemo-->
About improving, joining BFG allows me to pass on my knowledge to less experienced, but capable players who just need to be shown certain things. This is way better than NSguides because not only can show I them during one of 3 practices a week, they get to apply it in a scrim or battle on sunday! If you want to improve and compete, this is an awesome way to do it.
