Entity Not Working

<div class="IPBDescription">info_join_team</div> for some reason my 'info_join_team' entity won't work, i map for a year now so normally these entities work.

info_player_start <go to> info_join_team <spawn to> info_team_start <t1 or t2>

for some reason i come back as marine or animal the same place i touched the info_join_team entity in the ready room

there are no compiling or light errors, using hammer 3.5 and zhlt_p13 for ns3.0 and i launch local server testing the map without steam.

anyone who had this problem before?

    yea, got it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    i readed the other posts and it differs from ns2.0 that you can't just build a simple ns room anymore without 32 playerspawns and the 4x16 teamspawns <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Still this is a question for the <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showforum=34' target='_blank'>NS newbie mapping forum</a> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    So you're telling me that this is somehow NOT a problem related to the use of ns-specific entities? Also, aside from the fact that the GAME half-life may not work correctly there is nothing that changes because it's on a linux box that's translating itself for a windows program. Most certainly you aren't going to have an error that only manages to crop up in code that is entirely dependant on the half-life engine without errors popping up in other places.

    Also, this is the most impolite I have ever seen Kouji San to be, and that's simply because he didn't butter up what seems to be an obvious statement. Calling someone an idiot or "embicil"(sp) is just childish behaviour, especially when they're just trying to help you better direct your questions to where they belong. In short if you're not going to read the faqs then please don't get upset when the rest of us still ask you to abide by those forum policies.

    *** SPORED by XP-Cagey *** >>>>>> sorry dude!!

    yes, i know, im sorry about my behavior but i got angry with that answer.

    i mostly go to ze search button to find a solution to my problem, i did not find it the first time but it's ok now.
    and kouji san was not really helpfull sorry, that was a kick in the back, i already gave an answer to my question.

    and half-life... myea windows is better for common use, but this error output had nothing to do with the fact its running on a slack system.

    Saying to post in the newbie forum is impolite? I put in a smiley and everything... Hmm, definately not what I wanted it to look like...

    You have to keep in mind that everything I post is <b>never </b>ment as a flame or to trash you. I don't flame!
    This was just a suggestion, since the main mapping forum is not the place for this. Sorry if I made you angry <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    i don't say you are a flamer, and i'm not a newbie (or pro) mapper so this was all a misunderstanding so my excuses for all this.
    for my mapping problems i mostly reffer to a global HL editing site where they have the 'howto mapping guidelines' but since NS is more difficult i need more...
    i only had problems with the spawn points since 3.0 came that i did not know about.
    so this was actually the only question i posted <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Heh great we sorted that out.

    Btw saying to post in the newbie forum isn't saying your a newbie. It's just to protect these threads from being flamed since some of the similar threads got flamed (badly), because they don't really belong here and that can tick of some people, somehow...
