[tut-req] Arm Hacking

<div class="IPBDescription">And yes i have looked @ the webbed stuff</div> It not normally like me to ask for something but ive been looking through the webbed modeling tut for /me looks at watch a good 2 hours now and i cant find anything on so i am requesting a tutorial or a simple explanation on how to get arms from NS (the normal default arms on the LMG etc) onto a different gun. for example i have a cs gun model and i want to use the NS arms cuz the cs arms are crap. how do i do it? is it a matter of assigning vertexes to bone etc? or is there a quicker way to it?

i would be greatful if anyone can help

    couldnt you like load up the default lmg with arms, then deleat the lmg and import the lmg u want to use, although the animations would be all crappy.

    i think thats how u do it but there is a very complicated way that i just didnt understand, hope i helped

    ive thought about it and tried it, doesnt not work unless u want to re-animate the whole weapon again which i do not want to do

    The way i do it to keep the animations is rather hard... You have to basicly assign the ns la hands to the original model. Takes a long timke but is worth it.

    ...or get somone to hackjob the NS hand textures on the CS arms...
