Error: Cannot Run Events/weaponanimations.sc, ...

<div class="IPBDescription">Error...</div> No idea why this is happening! Basically, I load up Steam, enter the game, hit "find servers". It refreshes, I click on a server, and it gives me this error message while in the "Precaching" phase. It then boots me out of the game after the error message.

I have Natural Selection v3 beta 3 installed, was playing just fine last night, and since then have made NO changes to my halflife folder or its contents. Anyone know why I am getting this <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif' /><!--endemo--> error?

it sounds like a corrupt file

the simple soloution to this is to reinstall

if you still have the beta 1 installer just remove your NSP dir and reinstall from scratch.

Yeah, I was thinking that too, no idea how it got corrupted though, it was working just fine yesterday! Reguardless, I will reinstall it and let you know how it goes, I saved the installation files :-)
