<b>Nah, beer isn't quite THAT good, but it's still good beer.</b>
<i>Terran (7/11 10:00) - You reach the restaurant. Warm and clean, it's lying in a part of the city that wasn't hit by the bombs.
Spark - She looks at you suspiciously: "Excuse me for a moment, I have to run a background check". She enters some numbers on her computer. "Sorry sir, the files on you are a bit incomplete, I'll need a DNA check to verify your identity. Please place your hand here". She pulls out a touchplate of some sort, large enough for you to place your hand on.
Parhelion (7/11 10:05) - The guard accepts the goods for storage. When returning to the A&E reception, you see Sarlex standing there, talking to a receptionist. Appearantly she is in the process of taking a DNA test.
Bill, Darkness (7/11 11:15) - You find a toilet near the hospital entrance where you'll be able to change.</i>
<b>Location</b>: University, grounds outside the Library
*Svetlana exits the library to observe total pandemonium across the campus. Amongst the throes of students are several armed men running around inciting the terror. Feeling helpless, she comes to a stop in the middle of the grassy lawn.* “What is going on here?” she screams to no one in particular. * “It’s a raid – the university’s gotten itself involved in a political conflict,” an anonymous voice yelled in reply.* *Whirling around, Svetlana tries to locate the source of the information. Her eyes fall on a group of students racing towards the Medical Faculty. She breaks into a run and catches up with them.* “What do you mean,” she asks. * “So far the uni has been trying to remain politically neutral and stay out of the conflicts,” one explained as they continued to run. “Unfortunately recent situations have forced them to express a non-neutral opinion on the warfare – and this is the retaliation..” * “So what’s going to happen? Where can we go?” * “I don’t know much more,” the boy shrugged. “However, my friends and I are all fourth year medical students and we are all supposed to get to the major trauma hospitals to help out with the number of casualties from the bombings. Who are you?” * “I’m one of the third year medical students,” Svetlana responded. * “Then you may as well follow us. A hospital will be the safest place to remain right now.” *
<span style='color:Teal'>*Raziel opens his mouth to say that Adrian can't be -that- hungry, but his stomach gives a loud growl and cuts him off.* "...Allright... food it is, this place any good?" *He looks over at the resturaunt, and without waiting for a reply walks over and opens the door, walking in and looking for someone to ask for a table for 2.*</span> <b>I'm back. ^_^</b>
<b>Solanaceae, two things. First, you have to be more active. Posting once in a while wont work. The story becomes disconnected as soon as you try to interact with other players, and it's hard for me to keep a decent story going. Once per day as a minumum is the general rule I go by, and you're not even close to that. Second, you're in a game with a GM, not a ruleless roleplaying game. Don't create your world, follow the one I'm running. In the first post of this thread, you'll see a link to the rules I use for all my RPGs, listed <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=52980&st=0' target='_blank'>here</a>. Pay particular attention to the "don't take over the story" part.

"Just a moment sir, the machine is scanning?the global databases to see if someone has a more recent identity record stored. It seems the number you provided has not been updated for a while."
Khaim (7/11 10:05) - You find a waiter who provides you with a small table in the corner. The table is a small and round table. Not particularly expensive, but not a cheap plastic table either. On the table is two menu cards, listing a number of ordinary dishes, but no special or exotic ones.</i>
<b>Not that great beer? Phooey.</b> <span style='color:red'><span style='font-family:courier'> "Meh, I could never stomach exotic foods that well anyway. <i>Terran, Khaim (7/11 10:10) - The waiter appears, taking Adrian's order. "And what would you like sir?" he asks, looking at Raziel.

"I'm terribly sorry, but ...uhm... but we aren't allowed to treat people without being able to register a proper ID. I might be able to make an exception, but I need to go call my superior". <i>Khaim, Terran (10:15) - The note just mentions a time and place for a meeting, no reason. 14:00 today, in room 3B at Morozon Plaza, a hotel that was once glorious and quite expensive, but went out of business 15 years ago, and is now decaying in a slum in the southern part of Warszawa.

<b>Solanaceae, I'm performing a minor characterjack here to get things back on track.</b>
<i>Solanaceae (7/11 9:45) - Following the general stream out of the university, you reach the exit. On the two sides of the large exit door stands groups of the people with rifles, carefully observing those exiting the building. Occasionally, they stop one of the students, comparing them to stacks of pictures. They don't seem to pay particular attention to you, you're allowed to leave without a comment. Outside, you see two large camoflage-painted trucks, empty. Standing for a second on the step, in the middle of a crowd of students, you notice someone is waving at you, standing beside a car a little down the street. You recognize him, you used to study with him back when you studied computer science.</i>
<i>Bill, Darkness (7/11 11:30) - As you stand outside the toilet, talking, you hear someone yelling down the corridor. Sounds like it's coming from the entrance to the hospital. You can't make out what they're saying, but it sounds pretty much like military yells.</i>
<span style='color:Teal'>*Raziel turns the paper over in his hand, inspecting the back idly while waiting for his food and Adrian's to arrive.* "Funny, room 3B, just like our hotel room, wonder if it's just coincidence."</span>

In Manchester, a fire in an old cold war era tunnel has caused a large amount of disrupition to the telecommunications network. Its knocked out the ambulance radio communication systems, so they are having to use mobile 'phones to communicate with the ambulances. There is also widespread disruption to internet access in the Greater Manchester region.
The irony here is that the tunnel was supposed to protect the communications in the event of a nuclear strike</b>
