is jello like jelly? or is it jam? crap i always get those confused. well i wouldn't wrestle in either, unless the the person i was wrestling was a very beautiful member of the opposite sex. in that case, i couldn't care if it was jello, jelly, pudding, jam, etc!

Unfortunately, you did not tell them the bad news: where does gelatin come from?

Gelatin

gelatin or animal jelly, foodstuff obtained from connective tissue (found in hoofs, bones, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage) of vertebrate animals by the action of boiling water or dilute acid.

So mmmm... everything goes better with boiled hooves!

I did a quick google search for jello to make sure that it is jelly as we British call it - alas my search was in vain.

However I did find this it would seem that The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics decided it would be a good idea to shoot jello to see what happens.

I wonder what the exams are like...

What's so suprising about this? Back in the day, they used child urine to make gello green.

On another note: EVERY SINGLE HOSTESS PRODUCT HAS...

"Beef Fat"

-and-

"Animal Shortening" (lard)

That makes it meat! Meaning it's a Meat Dessert! ^-^ Tell that to the vegetarians who eat it.

And if I ABSOLUTELY had to..Jello, it makes less of a mess and I wouldn't have gobs of it sticking to me.

Pudding. No question. Jello is bouncy, but pudding is silky smooth. Especially Pistachio pudding, thatd be so nice . . .

yes the jello would be bouncey and not as messy at first but if your wreastling on it, it might become much messyer then the pudding
who really cares what jello is made of its still very yummy and theres always room for jello
• LongtoothLongtooth Join Date: 2002-07-02 Member: 863Members
First and foremost. Jell-o. Yes thats right the J to the E to the double L O. Pudding is far too much like flavored mud. And everyone has seen mud wrestling before. Secondly can anyone tell me why there is a cow on the Elmers Glue bottle ? Thirdly, I don't care what my food is made out of. Period. If it tastes good I don't even remotley care or want to know where it came from.

I agree, but pudding is just plain BETTER. I mean, snack packs, come on!! Now, multiply that by 30.

OK, I smell an Urban Legend right there. Why children's urine, and not any urine? And why use urine at all, when there are hundreds of FDA-approved alternatives that would work just as well, if not better. And why would urine make gelatin green? Gelatin is somewhat pale already, not blue (as in yellow + blue = green).

Gelatin, or Jell-o, is made from water, sugar, and collagen. Horse hoofs were once used in the day that gelatin was favored by royalty not because of its taste (a salty/bitter combination), but because of its rarity. So, nowadays, Kraft is getting their collagen elsewhere.

Happy eating!

And as far as what I, personally, would want to wrestle in, I couldn't say without trying them out first. Why can't I just watch someone else do so? It would be a lot more fun for us all.
