Good job, get some smoothinggroups.
regardless, i'll make a suggestion to you, shocker. it's great for a first model, but you shouldn't pour too much time and effort into it. instead, focus on learning and keep getting better. that'd be your best bet, rather than spending your time working on this.
With Milkshape, I imagine you'll want to use LithUnwrap; there are links to it and tutorials in the Help & Troubleshooting sticky.
For a first model, even following a tutorial, that's pretty nice! I agree with others who've said you need to get some smoothing groups, though.

Anyways, that's a flat shaded render. Not sure about how they can tell about your smoothing groups!
Regardless, don't worry about the details- get more experienced at modeling. I'd get comfortable with it before attempting things like meshing and skinning. Also, for a good tutorial on smoothing groups, http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/fo...86461#post86461

You have to skinmesh it first.
Look in the help forums, CoolCookieCooks made a really good tutorial to skinmesh that you can use.
Then post the skinmesh + milkshape file zipped up on here, and someone will try and skin it for you.
wouldnt work saiga and the USAS use mags not single loading shells. unless theres a different variant of the USAS
