They seem to have a good policy and there no lockdown as far as service agreements. I say you can't lose just to give it a shot for 1 month, $20 for 14 players? Bah, pocket change. Anyway, read the whole website and what they have to say before you buy, thought I'd throw this one out there.

btw, in case you don't find it, they buy their servers from rachshack.net and simply resell the service through HL servers. To make money these guys have to put about 3-5 HL servers on 1 box if you do the math, take it as you may...I still think it can't hurt to try it for only $20 - If it turns out to be good it's money well spent, they say if you experience lag they will even relocate you to another box.

    Screw spending money for hosting.  I just pulled out an old 486 that I had, installed redhat 4.somethingortheother and setup a 24 player server.  It's running off my dialup and is peachy.

    Don't see any mention of features for the server besides FTP/SSH. Guess no Admin-Mod, StatsMe, HLGuard, Stats, LogD, etc.

    i usually don't toot my own horn very often, but I'd be willing to throw some discounts to NS guys if you guys wanna host with my company. <a href="http://www.efiregate.net" target="_blank">http://www.efiregate.net</a> .. we load a lot less servers onto each machine than most other guys so there are no problems with cpu load, etc, and we give you SSH access so you can admin stuff yourself from the shell.. let me know if anyone's interested..

    Umm...stealth. I've been wondering this for a loong time, and since you actually own/operate/run a company that deals in this business..why is a pub server more expensive than a private server?
