    No, the 3.0 beta 1 installer is stand-alone, it installs into a seperate directory (nsp) rather than the old one (ns) so you can still play 2.0 and 3.0, since 3.0 <b>is not final yet</b>.

    After that, grab beta patches 2 and 3, install them, and get playing.

    As to what's changed, read the news page of natural-selection.org, it has a long promotion for NS3.0 describing the new features, changes and game mode.

    3.0 , then get 3.0 patch 2, then 3.0 patch 3 O_o

    or i think ou can get the mall in one
