<div class="IPBDescription">New map for ns</div> <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>ns_laststation</span>

<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:orange'>Storyline:</span></span> 100%
- Uleora was a starport in sector tango 8, one of the most used and advanced in the sector, after 13 years of use i was soled to TSA and they transformed the former starport into a military base.
- Then after 3 years the TSA Marine Corps ordered the dicomissioning and destruction of the station because of the incoming alien invasion.
- Uleora's Cold Fusion Reactor (CFR) was the best way to destroy the station was using the CFR in a temperatute critical state and stop drainig energy from it, this would cause the core to colapse and originate a chain reaction that would destroy every single inch os the station.
- For some reason this did not happen has planned so a squad os marines was sent in for investigations...

- Briefing - On board of the Transport Ship Goliath, 0930 hours.

- Greeting frontiersmen, you are about to enter the former Military Base Uleora.
The conditions of the base are unknown. Expectations are that there can be hostiles, probing revealed olhe large live being probably a Hive. Since there are now data about the interior of the instalation we can't predict the number of enemies you will have to face.
- You mission objectives are:
- Sweep the facility of any intruders;
- Find ou why didnt the core explode two days ago;
- Get back in one piece:

- Report in when the threat is eliminated and the base is secured.

- The landing zone seams to be clear but stay on your thoes for hostiles

    Setting up guidelines and story line is always a good start. And guess what I even like this short version of the story. Additions mission briefing?

    Keep it up and don't forget the screenshots when you got some parts done of the map (I love screenshots <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

    I think any abandoned ship scenario definitley needs at least one thing. Weld points. Lots and lots of weld points. Welds for lights, welds for doors (both to open and close) welds for lots of stuff. Even have welds that do nothing more than turn on a computer...... which procedes to blink uselessly. Although it does cost entities welds don't always have to do something. Also one of the better ideas might be to have a "roof hatch" that must be welded open for the commander to easily access on of the map areas. (say a nice choke point, double res, possible a hive) Not to say that it will be impossible to do things otherwise, just harder. Anyways, that's my .02. Good luck with the map.

    wow reese that one with the command hatch is sweet
    my idea= make a part of the station all broken down like something colided with it which caused it to be abandoned like make a hole in the roof of one building and you need to weld something to seal it off before you can go threw another one is make one of the hives inside the whats left of the main reactor of the station so it looks like it was partialy scavanged and left once the hive was found and make sure you put lots of fog in the map to give it a old kind of feel

    The hatch idea seams to be real cute! =P

    I changed the fact that the station is actualy orbiting the planet in an Geostationary orbit (so the sky does'n actualy move) one more thing if you can make skies (because i cant =P) can anyone make me a sky for my map? (some planet like mars but BIG)

    And for the crash thing im going to evaluate it because i don't realy know if it fits but it is a good idea

    He's planning well, but planning is just a small fraction of making the map.

    I only have a few complaits about the RR
    1:In the pic of what seems to be the junction between all the join halls, it looks a little to bright, dim the lights down some and maybe give some areas some definition with spot lights.
    2:Even though those blue light textures look nice they are a bight to large, make them smaller and then just have more of them.

    Besides that it looks nice.

    The lighting is indeed a bit... To bright in some parts and uhm...     The reason I didn't -wadinclude the ayumi-textures was because I wanted other people to use them if they wanted to. So go ahead. No need to give credits(well, if someone should have credits it's Squeal Like a Pig, it's his textures.
