of game being too dark upon alt-tab?
Maybe its the latest catalysts, or maybe my 9700 pro is getting ready to crap out on me, but I find now most of the time if i alt-tab out of the game, or hit my windows key (to answer an IM or check something really quick) when I get back to the game, it'll be a lot darker than before, and to get it back I'll have to try over and over and over again the alt-tab thing as mentioned before. Anyone else have this problem, or this just me?

Isn't that an issue with the in-game gamma getting resetted?

You should search the forum for in-game gamma. There were some threads about it.

Generally, it happens when you do not exit the game properly.

To fix it, press escape, then click resume game.

My gamma never resets if i exit out of the game incorrectly, so my desktop is blindingly bright. But then when i go back into the game, it increases the gamma again, so i've got super bright game. I did it a few times to see how bright i could get it, hurt my eyes

i found a fix for this problem. When you alt tab to windows, close whatever program you were working with to make windows send you back to ns. Dont alt tab BACK into ns. The gamma will be back to normal then.

Or just pop open the console and close it. Tadah.

To fix the blinding white problem, run resetgamma.exe
