<div class="IPBDescription">Are mappers doing their jobs?</div>What's up folks,
Been tracking the mod for a while, kudos to Flayra and the team for sticking with the project and delivering.
In original Half-Life, the feeling of immersion was strongly supported by foley (background noise and sounds). How are NS maps in this respect? Do steam, water droplets hitting metal floor, electrical buzzing, door servomotors,
empty shells hitting the floor, splattering bile bombs,
all produce appropriate sounds? Does fade's scythe make a whooshing sound? Do computers talk to you in sexy female voices <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> ?
The reason why I am asking is because I have good speakers and positional sound, and I loved Half-Life's reverb modeling... Nothing like firing a double-barreled pumpy and hearing the echos roll down a metal pipe.
