How to make small games more fun
Hi,
I recently discovered NS and love it so I've been trying to get my friends into it. We usually play small private games of CS, so we all know who each other is and can shout insults and so on. So I put NS on the server we use and got everyone playing. We usually muster 5 or 6 people for a game, which leaves 3v2 or 3v3.
The problem is that the games are too long, such as one recent 90 minute stalemate. I realise that NS was designed for more people, but it would be great if we could get shorten the games a bit. The obvious question is can anyone recommend any small 3.0 maps? Alternately any suggestions about any server-side mods or anything that I could apply to make the games shorter would be appreciated. Unless you think its just the way we play it that's flawed, in which case feel free to pitch in with suggestions.
All ideas appreciated, cheers for the help!

Second, NS is more or less balanced for 6v6 play (For regular NS), or 3v3-8v8 play for combat.
You'll have problems with large games (Anything bigger then 9v9) and small games (Anything smaller then 4v4), just because of the way the game is made. It's unfortunate, but true.
