Since I work at Staples, HP offers online training of their products (woop de do), but completing training will allow you to get discounts on their products (bigger woop de do ). After not checking it for 6 months, I took a peek, and found out I could get a $300 US rebate on the HP Ipaq 1945. Regular sale cost, $299 US. A free PDA, score!
So I walk to our shelf, hmm, no 1945. But we did have a 1940. Did a little research and found out the 1940 is the "Canadian Version" (yes, I live in Canada) of the 1945. After a suprisingly quick reply from HP stating that the rebate would only be honoured on the 1945, I went hunting. Contacted most of the major retailers in Canada, none of them can bring it in. Contacted HP directly, they won't send it to me.
So far I've checked with HP, Staples, Best Buy and Futureshop for offline locations. Then I went hunting online, all Canadian retailers again only carry the 1940, the American ones don't ship to Canada, and the ones that do, have a Canadian division which only sells the 1940. Furthermore, online auctions sites such as eBay are not a valid location to purchase it from.
So, does anyone know of a retailer either online or offline that either can acquire American products, or will ship to Canada but not from their Canadian division so I can get the 1945. I rarely ask stuff, but I am just stumped right now.

Good luck.
EDIT: Of course, you realize that if this works, you'll need to send one to me for free also (no really, I'm not kidding.)
For instance, I was watching a talk show on television (I was bored, okay?), and one of the hosts was describing her problems with sending a birthday present to her father in Canada. She wanted to purchase a large screen television for him, but she was based in California, and the television wasn't available in Canada.
The television, which cost $12,000 in California, ended up costing $20,000 to ship it to Canada.
Which is why there was such a lineup in front of the brand new Mac store in Japan. Fees to ship to different countries can be quite steep.
A couple of tins of Chum, a few meaty bones and maybe wear and tear on the sled.
I got a HP Journada somethingorother from my dad a few years ago, it's a useless lump of crap.
