Where To Put Models For Steam Hl?

<div class="IPBDescription">cough</div> Hi guys, I had counter strike but I got Half-Life over steam but I want to know, where do I put models to change the ones in Half Life STEAM? thanks! (didnt know where to ask this)

    Why would you want to change the models? when you install a mod into the steam dir, you gt the mods models ? O_o

    NO, Im wondering how to change my models for Halflife because I cant find a directory to place them in.

    oh, its somethng like c:\program files\steam\steamapps\youremail\(all your mods will be here, or in half-life folder

    and you should find the model folders etc..

    I think if you create a models folder based on the structure that WON HL had, it will work. I'm not entirely sure on this one though.

    C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Your Email Here\Half-life\HL <-- Add a new folder called 'Models' and just put them in there , same for sounds and sprites i *think*

    yup, just make a folder called models in the CS directory and then put each player model in it's own folder (the name of the folder and model have to be correct too... hopefully the models will have the right names in the first place so you can just use those but it's pretty specific based on which one you want to replace).
    To be honest I'd have to go look stuff up to give you the right names but I'll let you try and find them for yourself first ^~

    <b>edit:</b> the whole thing with having the right names only applies to CS, for HL you can call them whatever you like =3
