<div class="IPBDescription">map release</div> The map is finished. There might still be a few layout concerns, but I cannot add more rooms due to compile problems and I don't want to anymore. It has improved a lot since the first beta release though and I would like to thank everybody who has helped me during the creation process.

Story:
Any contact to the cargo carrier "CC-Trust 152" has been lost. Its emergency system activated the auto-pilot and followed its route to the next civilized star system, which happened to be the Earth's galaxy. While passing the orbit of Mars, a squad of marines enters the carrier and checks it for possible threats...

Here is (in my opinion) is how to perfect it. [500k pix]
I strolled around from MS (nice shuttle!!!) and went to the nearest res point, I brought up my map got someone confused...

I quite liking welding the vent in the vent, make it somewhat dangerous.. oooh!
Anyway, these are my nit picks, I had fun and it is <u>definately</u> one of the best maps I've played. Assume everything else is brilliant, because it is. Especially pulse generator hive. :>
Slightly worried about the 'no death' fall, are you going to patch this or is this definately the final version?
Making that hologram actually hollow is not so easy, it would have to be fixed by editing the model. I can't change it in Hammer, because a cycler_sprite (which makes models hollow) cannot display animated models (I DO NOT recommend to do something like that in your map, it caused my Hammer to keep crashing every time I tried to load the .rmf ...).
That "blocked door plus switch" is supposed not to go anywhere, maybe the switch should be sparking so n00bz don't get confused <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Apparently the map is still not letting me move on, I will try to fix these little bugs tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

anyway heres what i came up with,

The bottom hive is too far away from the rest of the map. It takes a long time to walk there from either marine start or the two top hives. It seems something is missing between the bottom hive and marine start? An extra route leading out from MS, perhaps?
Apart from that, some areas seemed really really dark. The contrast is high, so the dark spots are toally dark. Perhaps this is the intention, though.
And I want to be able to climb the shuttle in Marine Start! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
@tankegful: Extra route from bottom hive is not possible, as soon as I add more rooms hlrad crashes.
I will consider all other suggestions though. That error message was from the system running the dedicated server for NS. It's a dual PIII-866 w/ 512mb RAM.
erm... tried the map in the mapcycle on server #1 but had to remove it because of this error <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Server is Windows XP, dedicated rackmount P4 (2.4HT @ 800fsb) with 512mb ram.
