Custom Icons

<div class="IPBDescription">hrm ?</div> Aight, I know 3.0 allows support for custom icons, but i was wondering, how exactly do I get it so I can give me and my friends their own personal icons ?

I've looked around but found no way on how to do it, if anyone knows and would help meh out.. it would be great

    you should try the server support forum. I do believe that it is a server side variable, controlled by a list of steam ID's stored on the server.     Yeah, its server side, i know that, but i dont know how to get the custom icons to work, and such.. you know.. the custom part..

    grr... how would i say it,
    how would i make a custom icon show up for each of my friends ?

    According to voogru, custom icons currently do *not* work. Theres some bug or something that Flayra needs to fix so that they will work like they should.

    Voogru is currently using the NS guide icon(which are purple[and ugly:D]) for his donators(like me) instead of being able to use a custom icon.

    Until that gets fixed, you could try asking voogru how he did it. He might tell you.

    The way it is supposed to work is:<ul><li>Anyone who's Steam ID is listed in mp_serverops gets an admin icon.</li><li>Devs/PT/Vet/Const members get their own icons.</li><li>Server admins can create ONE custom icon and control it's appearance/colour using the mp_customicon cvar. The only way to get certain players to use this custom icon is to use one of the icon plugins that support it. As far as I know, there are only two such plugins: ServerOps (metamod) and AdminIcons (AMX). They can be found at modns.org. Currently the custom icon feature is broken.</li></ul>
