    HEhe... I'm constantly switching from the cyborgs to the aliens pack now ^-^
    Although I think I'm gonna stick with this one.

    Anyways, I'm gonna be a little nitpicky and pick on the animations for the bites. I know you didn't change or make them, but I'm gonna pick on them anyways.
    I don't like it how the jaws meet. I mean, it's not biting through gel or something, it's trying to bite through an armoured marine.
    The draw animation is more "realistic" than the bite animation.
    I wouldn't mind those two switched over <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    But wow... I haven't seen those teeth this good before!

    Update in Beta 2:

    - Slightly lighter and slightly more colorful (mainly blue-ish tint) skins.
    - Fixing Runner tail transparency.
    - Adding all Alien V models (current ones are just to tide you over until this).
    - More and cooler sounds such as ambient, doors, and buttons.
    - Any more suggestions will be great, and I will add them if I think necessary.

    Also, I will talk to Necrosis and/or Daphisto on creating some new V models/animations but your best bet is that the ones you're using are the ones you'll keep using (until B2 comes out with different V models) because I'm pretty sure Daph or Necrosis don't want to re-animate the v models to look more realistic...

    In case you're confused, all of the V models except Fade and Gorge have the same runner teeth, some slightly different than others, so I take it they all have almost the same animations. However, hopefully if I reskin them and you're too busy paying attention to how sexy the new models are, you'll forget about bad animations (if they ARE really bad, I don't really notice it).

    My only picking was the missing of the V models, but I use the V pack that was already released, using your textures, and the tail of the runner.

    But damn, this pack is awsome. I play fairly dark with a darker light gamma and zery brightness, so my only lightsource is my muzzleflash at times.

    It gets really freaky when I play Tempest in the background, hear a sound (LOVE those walksounds <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> ), fire away and only spot the shinyness on the alien models.

    It has put me to the bottom of the scorebar, but who gives a damn, I'm having the time of my life <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Yes the running sound needs turned up or REDONE because right now its liek the aleins get instant silance if you on marines. The current footstep are practicaly none existant.

    yep, specifically gorge, and skulk. far too quiet. imo it needs some sort of clanging, coz im sure they've got hard claws.

    - Louder walk sound.
    - Better jump sound.
    - Better Primal Scream (I like it a lot, currently :-\)

    I turned up the sounds by 150% when i released this pack... so I guess I should raise that to about 200% - 225%? I'm not gonna make them really loud, because part of this is to be freaky as hell.

    Also, it's the default AvP2 running sounds. But I can edit the jump sound, possibly. Because the jump sound is part of the pl_step-a.wav series... and im not sure if it loops all four while walking, or if one of them is only for a jump sound. If this is the case I will change it to have a jump sound, but it would sound out of place if you heard the Alien scamper and then a loud snarl or something while walking. If that happens, I will stick to the regular sounds, just made louder.

    When jumping you play one of the walksounds at the same time, making it twice as loud as well, but you can hear there's a wee delay between the two double-plays.

    aye, i know. but wen comparing the new skins to my old brown ones ive had since V2, it looks fresher. maybe a more pleasing tint might help.

    Yes, black is much better imo, but anyway the walking sounds are so amazing!!
    I love the skulk one, it's so creepy to hear it's like claws on glass.

    The bulls are black when born. the black fades and turns to brown as the bull ages and his carapace hardens. This is similar to reptiles when they are born/shed skins... but thats the movie world.

    The great, and still living, Hans R Giger's aliens range from black tinted cobalt to diffused green and brown and even silvery. I own several of H.R. Giger's art books and have been a fan of his art and the alien movie universe for several years.

    they do have a slightly blue tint to 'em...I'm not talking about the obvious blue highlights. of course, the suits were aparently very diffuse so they will tend to pick up whatever color is around them. It could just be an illusion.

    Uhh when looking at your skulk model, I see that the hitboxes of the tail (well its small :/) and the head need to be done/redone

    For the rest, yep the sounds need some work too.

    It's really godamn good! REALLY!

    Ive waited so long to see that queen hive get some love, very nice job.

    I see absolutly no problems with color and/or brightness schemes... just boosts the creepeyness level.

    Only thing i really didnt like was that random alien sounds played constantly, which was kind of creepy, but erally just wierd and out of place... probably just me or the beta3 sever i was playing on.

    Your V_models are fine, of courese the fade thing... everyone knows, no reason to repeat.

    Its a damn fine pack, keep up the excelent work and all of us will be waiting for your next update.

    Those sounds play anyways in the original NS.
    It's the idle and move sounds. The fade plays them most often, sometimes so often that two overlaps.

    The onos is next in line, then the lerk, then the gorge, then the skulk which barely plays anything, because that'd give off it's position in ambushes.

    Keep them black. They're not brown in the movies, they're dark gray with a small ting of cyan/blue, which I think is just black without the slime reflecting the light.

    yeah well imo, put ur old ones back in like i did, until he brings out the next pack, which im sure (hitman, u listenin?), he will include some uber l33t sounds. especially jump and run. and primal scream. but these are good enough for now, im happy.
