Saying Your Current Amount Of Health, Armor

location, and that kind of stuff, howto?
bind "o" "say_team I'm at %L with health status %A/%H"

I've seen things like this in FAQ's for other halflife mods, and I'm wondering if it does work for natural selection.
Anyone knows?

The server needs a plugin for this. (voogru's ChatVariables)

I think it should be put into NS, since all locations already have names it shouldn't mean so much work for Flay.

Why in gods name would you have those annoying things. Nobody cares if you're reloading, or need ammo or whatever. Let alone these annoying things.
I can see it now, every 2 sec some lamer with his friggin script "I'm here, I have so many ammo and this many HP." GG spam.

I'd hafta agree with Jez, its especially annoying when they figure out how to bind it to something like their reload button =\

geez guys, binding aint that hard, you just have had too much bad experiences with it.

it would be very handy for ppl without microphone, so they dont have to type everytime where they are, it would cost the com a lot less searching, especially if the com gets multiple alerts of "soldier needs help"

and you can put anti spam meassures on servers...
and you can actually kick ppl for spamming...

Who cares about anti-spam, we aren't interested such things.

You can do that kind of stuff with a mic already, but I don't see much of it.

It would be really handy, so I hope it goes in sometime.

I've tried bind laming on a lot of servers when I was in anarchic mood once, and I got kicked off pretty fast

So see? I have proven myself right, most of the people are interested in those binds, that's why the people with them get banned at the slightest change.

I hate those things with a passion, especially the medpack ones. If someone hits their button by accident it says: "Commander! I'm at *here* and need a medpack stat! I currently have 100 health and 25 armour"

Or the ones which the person acknowledges you.

    "Yes / OK / Roger / Affirmative / Understood"

Makes me want to punch them.

    *confused*

If the anti-spam meassures work well, whats the problem then?

Don't get me started on those acknowledged messages, please.

Seriously, do you really think that a message like:
"Commander, can you please drop a resourcetower at [area]" including the voicecomm need orders would be so bad? I think it would be great.

    What are you talking about.

NS has built into itself anti-spam measures.

So your entire anti-spam talk is pure crap dude.

Those things are just plain annoying. The only one that will server any use is %l. In tfc you see people all the time going "Medic! I have %h/%a and the last person I saw was %i!". Gets old fast.
