Apparently I'm 55% Dixie, although living in England and being of Australian origin may have skewed the test slightly. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo--> That and one or two of the questions didn't have answers that applied to me.
I have no idea why I actually took that, oh well. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
42% ...and yes, lots of people look all weird if I ask where the bubbler is...although I'll admit drinking foutain is more appropriate. Hooray for growing up in southern Wisconsin I guess.
Funny, I live in Portsmouth England and I out scored some red necks <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
wow, we all have pretty moderate answers (accept for Dave, hissssss) =P
46% here... I didn't know only we NJ/NY ppl called it "mischief night"
one problem is, I use a lot of those words independently... that is, I might call it a crayfish one day and a crawdad another, I use both sub and hoagie, car-mel and car-a-mel, pillbug, roly poly bug, potato bug... etc etc...
so yins wanna put on yer running shoes and come with me to get a grinder 'fore we hit the beverage barn and grab us a poke full o' pop n' get ready to start rolling the neighborhood for cabbage night?!
It's a really bad test for westerners. I live in California and alot of my answers were supposedly from SouthEast. Crawdad ? That's the only term I've heard on the California coast, and it's from the Southeast ?
Pretty good considering I'm from Oklahoma. Cultured enough to not be a total hick, yet also just enough that my parents won't disown me. :)
Though really, the test is a bit generic in most areas. There should be more specific questions in there. The pronounciation bit and the "what do you call a carbonated beverage" part were accurate afaik though.
I think the test is suspect, giving out all these similar middle of the road answers. Also note that if you switch your answer on one it changes the final total upwards each time you do it. It's not actually calculating at the end, I don't think, just upping it for each click and then giving the total at the end. I wonder if it's actually possible to NOT get something within 10-20 points of the center line.

Someone retake this thing and TRY to get as low/high score as you can, even w/ lying.
I'm from France <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Every answer I have says I'm most likely from Chicago / Great Lakes. Which I am. Then I calculate the score and says I'm like 70% dixie. What the hell? NOTE: Chicago is not at ALL Dixie...
Either the test is poorly designed, or the guy making it didn't have a clue.
EDIT: Okay I've concluded it's poorly designed. I changed like one answer (after resetting it) and it knocked me back by like 40%, 34% (Yankee). A definitive Yankee.

On that note, I missed my overall 'A' in my graduations because they didn't like my accent...

I live 5 miles from the Mason-Dixon Line. We are Yankee's but we have southern accents. Or is that a Philly accent?

EDIT: LMFAO! I just realized I wasn't supposed to click the other answers to see what they are.
True Results (I was honest too)
94% (Dixie). Is General Lee your father?
