Need Help With Psp7

i really want to try to make my own sig, but i also want transparency in it. can i have a simple walkthrough for making transparency parts in my sig?

    I dunno PSP but have no background and save it as gif...
    Thats PS though... I dunno PSP.

    yep, Looks like you figured it out.
    I prefer to just have the background match the forum because, Well then I can have higher quality.

    Well, the easy way to get a color off of something is to take a screenshot and use an eyedropper <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    There are compressed targas (RLE) that offer transparency too, and I'm pretty sure it's not lossy (just make sure you don't make the file size too large).

    Make whatever you want transparent, in PhotoShop, one solid color. When you're done with the picture, select the Magic Wand Tool[W]. Uncheck the tool's "Anti-Aliased" and "Contagious" boxes at the top of the screen if they're checked. Click the color, and hit Delete on the keyboard. It should have a Checker Pattern, that means it'll be transparent.
