well id def say anyone who doesnt model, shouldnt critisize, cuz this took my tons of time, and its a lot of work, so i have a lot more respect for the art now that im doing it.

I'd say pull that piece between the grip and slide up to just about before the end of the slide.

You could also add a little more "meat" to the hammer and make the grip plate line up with the flow lines of the grip. Just a suggestion.

you also got a little vertex error under the slide infront of the trigger gaurd

crap ur right chrono, prob accidently grabbed a vertex and dragged a tiny bit accidently, thnx for spottin try to repair it

My only other suggestion would be the giant tail thing coming out the back needs to be toned down a smidge or so.

well truthfully that is how the gun really is (the tail) go to the colt website and look at a ww1 colt 1911 and ull see, the other comments were very helpful however thanx.

My only current true erk with this model is where the slide slopes down in the front, even if its incorrect I think it'd look better if the slide stayed the same from end to end.

well bijiy, ive thot about that, and its the way the gun is built (the slide) i fixed up the tail for you, fixed the vertex glitch, and am trying to work on some smoother edges like chrono said it was to blocky.

thnx owen, i learned a new rounding trick from galambis or whatever his name is, but yeah the next one wil lbe better, hopefully i can work on a concept or ill just yoink a real gun ref picture and get chuggin.

gj for ur first model. needs some more rounding (try the majic of edge chamfering). Other than that it kinda lacks style, but it's still a first model. /me welcomes

My dad owns one of those, very nice. Great accuracy, low recoil, acceptable mag size...I love it...

Thnx for the tip chet, im gonna drop that whole pistol thing and move onto one of owens concepts, i will not try the real one however because that exact gun has been done and is on T2K
