How do you make the logos see through. Everytime I use them I get a hideous black background on them. I dont want that on there. How do I get rid of it?

Make them func_illusionary and set Render Mode to Additive and FX Amount to 255.

That worked. Now I'm stuck with 2 probs. How do you make ladders visible. Mine go invisible

2 - How do you make railings solid. I set mine but I can walk straight through them

    Thanks

You have to make one (or several) brushes for each ladder, and then add another brush over that, which is the func_ladder.

Put a clip brush over them.

    edit: clarity

To make the railings visible, but the blue shaded area invisible you need to have the rendermode set to "Solid" and have the FX amount set to 255 ( I have heard the FX amount setting does not matter, but use 255 to be safe )

To make it so you cannot walk through the railing tie the entity to a func_wall entity and not a func_illusionary entity. Alternatively create a square block covering the railing and texture it with the CLIP texture.

I think it's better if you use the func_illusionary-clip method, as then marines will be able to fire through the railing.
